English Spanish Dictionary G. App Reviews

I have yet to see the perfect Spanish-English dictionary, but this one is well on the way to it. Those Spanish words I cant find in it are usually very specialized words, often from sports articles in El País. The instant access to conjugated forms of the verbs is very useful. An earlier edition withdrew this feature but restored it indays after I (and probably many others) complained. I recommend it highly.

By far the most robust and thorough app Ive been able to find for learning Spanish. Ive recommended it to many classmates.

I find this dictionary to be very handy. Not only does it give a good range of translations, but it also has good suggestions for using the words in colloquial expressions.

We bought this dictionary on the recommendation of a friend in our Spanish class. It has been a great help, and so much more portable than a big heavy paper dictionary. The verb conjugations are so easy to use. We love it and have recommended it to others.

Has definitions, synonyms, localismos, works both ways (can type in either language). Has verbs conjugation, showing the irregular verbs in red, which is incredibly handy. (I wrote them a letter two weeks ago asking for that same feature and voila, here it is). One can re-arrange the order of the tenses to his own liking or remove those he doesnt need. Displays also phrases, proverbs, sayings with definitions for the whole thing. Can group the favorites in folders - extremely handy for building vocabulary in a more systematic way. Very few other dictionaries have that feature. All that said, there are things that can be improved, like theres no example phrases, there are "quotables" (in-app purchase) but they are often quite off, sometimes dont even contain the word and in general Id say useless. And in general the whole lineup of WordMagic dictionaries could do with some clarification on what is the difference between the editions costing twice & triple this one. At this price point, I think the customer should be better informed.

This app is okay for sighted people but is not helpful for a blind person it would be easier once you say your sentence or word the response is immediate without having to find the word and click on it. Its very difficult to try and figure out. However for most people its helpful and it does it require Wi-Fi

Great job, guys, thank you for this app. Learning Spanish, and this app is a great help.

Use it daily. Gives multiple definitions if they exist. I especially like the verb conjugations and if you look up one verb form it immediately gives its definition with quick access to the rest of that verbs forms. Only complaint is - translations of examples go from one languages idiom to the other languages idiom without ever giving the literal translation.

Extensive & so easy to use. I love that you dont have to switch between different dictionaries. Just enter the English or Spanish word & go.

One of the best dictionaries. Many idiomatic short phrases, which I find helpful. Will find any conjugation of a word recognizing accents on the vowels can change the word meaning. Lists all the verb conjugations.

I that you are able to hear the pronunciation of the word you are looking for.

It a very helpful tool for people who is learning either, English or Spanish. It the best electronic dictionary I could get.

This tool is addicting and always has something else that i want to know like meanings or conjugations its one big tool of helps and consults. Although isnt bad idea that you can give more at the customers that always follow and buy yours tools... Loyalties are important

I use this app daily and it never fails to answer my question. I would be lost without this app.
